Penn State University Libraries had the pleasure of working with Daggerhart Lab for a year on an ambitious project to migrate our 38 websites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. From the very beginning, they were more than consultants—they became an integral part of our team.

We started working with Daggerhart Lab as our small company was dealing with the Lead Developer stepping away. Normally this would have been a really challenging situation to navigate but having the Daggerhart Lab team there to support made the transition seamless. It’s easy enough to hire a developer who can be given a project and finish it but Daggerhart Lab can be given a problem and work collaboratively to find a solution that is effective, in budget, and easy to maintain (documentation for everything!!). I always felt that I could be open and honest, especially when I didn’t understand the technical pieces of the new build process. The new admin dashboard they made for us is so easy to use now! The team was quick to respond to our questions throughout the build and continue to be now that we’re in the maintenance and support phase with them.

We were looking to simplify our SSO plugin to make things easier to track and troubleshoot. Daggerhart Lab provided an all-in-one plugin solution for our SSO that simplified our internal processes with ample documentation and a focus on longevity of solutions (no quick fixes!). These guys are experts in their fields and creative problem solvers—they are committed to creating quality products while maintaining an air of professionalism. I would definitely recommend them!

I appreciate that the Daggerhart Lab team is about creative solutions, not ‘this is how your industry presents website information’ so you should do it this way too. Throughout our new website design process, it really was a collaboration. As we navigated the design or structural elements of the new website, it was easy to have transparent conversations to get past barriers or differing opinions on site functionality. Post-launch, it continues to be a delight working with the Daggerhart Lab team to make our website even better.
